thumbnails

When I can't think of anything to paint, which is about %98 of my time in the studio, I paint thumbnails. rather than going for a finished piece, or something I think will sell later, I go for learning something new. Just because I don't have a masterpiece in mind doesn't mean I shouldn't be improving my skills. I spend a very short amount of time on each one. some take 10 minutes, some take a couple hours. I'll do ten or so of these and decide on one to expand upon and do a little larger.
